Create an AWS free tier account from the url https://aws.amazon.com/free/

-- Use debit or credit card (it will not charge your card as long as you stay within the free tier services)

---Please do not explore any other services ( use only the ones which I teach in the session )

\==Once you signed up for the aws free tier

--We can start creating one instance and start practicing our tools

-- get started by signing in

--Click on sign in

After giving username , give password and login

Please ensure that the ppk file got downloaded , because you will need this file to connect to the instance using putty ( ssh tool)

Now we should be able to launch the instance

Now we can see the running instances .

In order to connect to the running instances , We need to download the putty tool

https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/latest.html

Download and install the tool. 64 bit

Once installed , click finish , putty will be successfully installed

Now let's open PuTTY

Give hostname as ec2-user@ we should now select the Public IPv4 address from the AWS console

Lets go back to the AWS console

Click on the instance id

Now you can copy the Public IPv4 address

Now go back to the putty and paste the Public IPv4 address

Now go the SSH -> Auth

Locate the ppk file which we saved from AWS
